The Fort LaCloche Bridge is a collaborative design-build project undertaken in partnership with the Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation. Located in Fort LaCloche, the bridge replaces an old, unsafe pedestrian bridge over a river outlet. Designed and partially constructed by students, the bridge uses locally sourced logs and timber, reflecting the community's cultural heritage. The project highlights the importance of community engagement and craftsmanship, blending traditional materials with modern construction techniques.
